The challenge
A major utility operator involved in international activities, mainly in China, wanted to strengthen its personnel’s ability to manage project risks.
Our approach
A kwantis partner gave a 4-day training course on managing risk on mega projects (nuclear plants) in an international context. The course combined theory with practical exercises in probabilistic modelling (Monte Carlo simulation), using Palisade @RISK for schedule, budget and profitability analyses.
The outcome
All participants gave very positive feedback on the training, especially on its teaching content and the practical exercises. Each participant received a digital booklet with theory, examples, templates and exercises.
